Can I sign up my child to play on the same team as a friend?
Yes. In the house league division we do allow for friend requests. The league coordinator will try to accommodate all friend requests. Team balancing may affect request.
When and for how long does the season run?
Each team will play ten (10) games which includes playoffs. Learn to Play/Squirt is also a ten (10) week program. Spring/Summer starts in mid April. Fall season (if applicable) starts in September. Winter season (if applicable) starts in January.
When is the first game of the season and how will we be notified?
Everyone registered and paid will be emailed at least a week before the first game. Uniforms will all be available to be picked up before the first game commences or at the first game. If you have registered and have not been contacted please contact us.
What are the days of the week and the times of the games?
For weekend leagues, game times generally begin at 9am with the youngest divisions starting first. For weekday leagues, games generally begin at 6pm with the youngest divisions starting first.
Where are the games played?
League games are played at local arenas. Arena's may change from season to season depending on availability.
My child has never played ball hockey/ice hockey before. Is this program suitable for a child with no prior experience?
Yes! Our program is designed to suit children at all levels of experience and skill. A fair number players are children with limited or no ice hockey or ball hockey experience.

Rep program is for players who want to play in a more competitive environment. Speak with your league coordinator for detailed information. Every year, the league sends teams to the Ontario Ball Hockey Federation (OBHF) Provincial Championships, which are held in July. Teams will also have the opportunity to compete Nationally and Internationally. Tryouts typically take place beginning in late April/early May, followed by team selection and dedicated practices and exhibition games.
How do I become a coach?
As part of the registration process, please indicate when prompted if you are interested in coaching your child.
How do I become a referee?
Please visit www.ontarioballhockeyfederation.com to register for a clinic details. Once certified please contact your local league. We are always looking for officials.
How do I Volunteer?
Please contact the league coordinator who can find opportunities for volunteers to help out.
